Purpose and Scope

Our editorial content should help a visitor make a safer, better-informed decision before using a tool. This policy applies to platform guides, troubleshooting articles, format explanations, responsible-use guidance, and factual product descriptions. It does not turn advertising copy into editorial advice.

Who Creates Our Content

Guides are published by the VideoDownloader.click Editorial Team, the site-level author identified on every article. The author link leads to our About page, which explains the team’s responsibility and the purpose of the site. We do not invent individual authors, qualifications, reviewers, or testing credentials.

A separate reviewer is named only when a real person or organization has completed a documented accuracy review and has agreed to be identified. Until that happens, no reviewer is displayed or added to structured data.

How A Guide Is Prepared

1. Choose a question that directly supports users of the currently approved Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok tools.
2. Check the relevant live page, URL requirements, error states, and source-dependent result behavior.
3. Use primary sources for platform rules, browser behavior, technical specifications, and legal or policy claims whenever an appropriate primary source exists.
4. Separate confirmed product behavior, third-party platform facts, general recommendations, and unresolved limitations.
5. Review headings, examples, links, mobile presentation, accessibility, metadata, and structured data before publication.

Evidence and Sources

Articles should add original value through first-party interface checks, screenshots, examples, comparisons, troubleshooting observations, or clearly explained limitations. External facts should be cited near the relevant statement or collected in a clearly labelled Sources section. We prefer official platform documentation, standards bodies, browser documentation, and other primary sources over copied summaries.

A source supports only the claim it actually addresses. A link is not treated as proof of a capability that we have not observed or tested. Sponsored placement, affiliate relationships, or advertising must not determine an editorial conclusion.

Dates and Change Control

• Published records when the article first became public.
• Updated changes only after a meaningful content, evidence, or guidance revision—not for spelling or formatting alone.
• Guidance checked records the most recent editorial accuracy review shown to readers.

Visible dates must match page metadata and structured data where the same fields are represented. Older content should be reviewed when platform behavior, provider output, browser support, or site functionality materially changes.

Product Tests and Limitations

Test notes should identify the date, route, device or browser context, expected behavior, and observed result when those details matter. A successful check of one public link does not justify “always,” “any video,” fixed-resolution, fixed-format, or universal compatibility claims. Availability remains source- and provider-dependent unless broader behavior has been demonstrated.

Automation and AI Assistance

Automation may assist with drafting, consistency checks, code analysis, or test execution, but published factual claims remain subject to editorial review. We do not publish large volumes of unreviewed automated content or use automation primarily to manufacture search traffic. A more specific disclosure will be added when automation materially shapes content in a way readers would reasonably want to know.

Corrections and Reader Feedback

Readers can report an inaccurate statement, broken link, accessibility problem, policy concern, or missing disclosure through the dedicated Corrections and Accessibility Feedback route. Reports should identify the page and disputed statement where possible. We assess the evidence, correct confirmed material errors, update the visible modification date when the change is meaningful, and add an article-level correction note when readers need to understand what changed. No fixed response or correction time is promised.

Independence and Responsible Use

Editorial pages must not encourage access to private, restricted, or unauthorized material and must not imply that personal use automatically overrides copyright, platform rules, or applicable law.
