Open the specific Story
Navigate to the image or video Story item you have permission to save. A profile URL alone does not identify that item.
Paste a direct, currently accessible Story URL to review the compatible image or video options returned for it. Expired, private, login-only, and unsupported Stories cannot be recovered.

Use the available Share or Copy link action and submit the full HTTPS address before the Story becomes unavailable.
The provider may return one item, several items, or none. Confirm the preview and media type before selecting a download.
The path helps identify what you copied. Even a correctly shaped Story URL can stop working after the item expires or its audience changes.
instagram.com/stories/username/123…
This is the intended pattern when the item is still public and accessible.
instagram.com/username/
A profile does not identify a particular Story image or video.
instagram.com/stories/highlights/123…
A Highlight is a different route and may not be supported by the current provider.
No recovery promise: this service does not access a creator’s Story archive, restore expired media, sign in as a follower, or bypass Close Friends and private-account controls.
The downloader presents only accepted media locations returned by the provider. It does not recreate stickers, polls, links, captions, music, viewer interactions, or missing Story segments as separate downloadable elements.

Copying the old URL again will not restore it. Only the creator may still have access through their own archive.
This service does not use your Instagram session or follower access, so restricted Story media cannot be retrieved.
Copy the currently active individual Story item. Profiles and Highlights are different URL types and may return no media.
Each segment can have a separate media response. Save only the items returned; the site cannot infer missing segments.
The server checks HTTPS, the supported host, limits, and recent cache before a time-sensitive provider request.
Only approved response fields and acceptable HTTPS media locations are presented to the browser.
The server may retain a filtered Story lookup for about 15 minutes; the browser may keep its recent entry for up to seven days.
Use a direct URL for a currently accessible individual Story item, commonly containing /stories/username/ followed by an item ID.

Not necessarily. The provider may return one, several, or no compatible items. Interactive elements and missing segments are not reconstructed.
