From a Facebook post to the returned options

01

Copy the public video link

Open the Facebook post, use its Share menu, and choose Copy link. The post must open publicly without a Facebook login.

02

Check the URL

Paste the complete HTTPS URL above. The server validates it before asking the external provider for available media details.

03

Review before saving

Use only an option displayed for that result. Check its available label and respect the creator’s rights before downloading.

Facebook links you can try

These are common public-video URL patterns, not a guarantee that every matching post can be processed.

Watch URL

facebook.com/watch/?v=123…

Common for a standard public Facebook video.

Page video URL

facebook.com/PageName/videos/123…

Common for a video published by a public Page.

Shared public URL

facebook.com/share/v/…

A share link may work when it resolves to an accessible public post.

What will not work: private profiles or groups, Friends-only posts, login-gated videos, deleted posts, and links that Facebook or the provider cannot expose as public media.

Formats and quality are result-specific

This tool does not convert a post into new formats or create a higher resolution. It displays only compatible media options supplied for the submitted URL and accepted by the site’s response filters.

  • Read the format and quality label shown on the current result
  • Treat missing audio or resolution details as unknown, not guaranteed
  • Choose another returned option if the first file does not suit your device
  • Never assume HD, 1080p, 4K, or a particular container will be available

Why a Facebook link may fail

“Use a valid public URL”

Copy the full link again, including https://. Do not paste post text, an embed code, or only a numeric video ID.

Private or login-only post

Open the URL in a private browser window. If Facebook asks you to sign in or says the content is unavailable, this tool cannot access it.

No compatible media returned

The post may be public but unsupported, removed, restricted, or temporarily unavailable from the provider. Retry later; do not repeatedly submit it.

File does not play as expected

Try another option from the same result if one exists. The site cannot add missing audio, change the source quality, or repair the remote file.

What happens to the submitted URL

1

Validation

The server checks the URL structure, supported host, request limits, and cached-result key.

2

Provider lookup

The URL is sent to the configured external media provider when a current cached result is unavailable.

3

Filtered response

Only approved fields and HTTPS media locations are returned to the browser. Results may be cached for about 15 minutes.

Check permission before saving

  • Save your own video or obtain the creator’s permission.
  • Follow Facebook’s terms and the law that applies to you.
  • Keep attribution and context when they matter.

Avoid

  • Bypassing privacy controls or access restrictions.
  • Republishing copyrighted work without permission.
  • Presenting another creator’s work as your own.
