Supported Social Media Links and Private-Content Limits
Identify the exact Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok post link this site can check, understand why a valid-looking address may still return no media, and avoid attempts to bypass account, audience, login, age, region, or creator controls.
“Supported” Describes A Check, Not A Guaranteed File
This site can validate an HTTPS URL, recognize an approved platform host, send an eligible request to its external media provider, filter the response, and display media links that pass protocol and host checks. Those are site-level capabilities. The source platform and provider still determine whether the post can be reached and which media, format, dimensions, audio, or temporary URLs are returned.
A link can therefore be correctly formed and still produce no result. The post may be private, limited to friends or followers, expired, deleted, login-only, age-controlled, region-restricted, changed after the link was copied, or unsupported by the upstream provider. A hostname match alone does not prove that the address identifies one downloadable media item.

Facebook’s audience selector allows a post to be Public, Friends, Only Me, or another available audience. Official guidance says Public content can be seen by people off Facebook, while other audiences restrict who can see it. This site does not sign in as the submitter, join a group, confirm friendship, or use a viewer’s Facebook permissions.

Instagram’s official visibility guidance distinguishes public accounts, whose posts can be seen by anyone on Instagram, from private accounts, whose posts are limited to approved followers. Being an approved follower in your own app does not give this site that session or permission. Do not provide account credentials, session cookies, private APIs, or copied request headers.

TikTok allows account-level privacy and per-post audience choices. It also has a separate Video downloads setting. A public post, a creator-enabled Save video option, and permission to reuse the saved content are three different questions. Use TikTok’s own Save video action first when the creator enables it; this site does not request or perform watermark removal or override a disabled creator control.
What A Private Or Restricted Link Means Here
Knowing the address of a private, followers-only, Friends-only, group-only, login-only, age-controlled, region-limited, or removed post does not make its media public. This service does not authenticate as you or bypass the source platform’s access decision.
Do not change the URL, scrape page source, paste cookies, share login details, use another person’s session, or look for a “private downloader.” Those steps can create privacy and account-security risks and fall outside the supported product. If the content is yours, use the platform’s own download, archive, export, or account tools. If it belongs to someone else, ask the creator for an authorized copy or a public sharing method.

- Open the exact item normally.Confirm that the intended video, Reel, or Story still exists and is visible without relying on a private session.
- Identify the platform and content type.Separate a direct item from a profile, feed, search result, audio page, highlight, or collection.
- Copy the complete HTTPS link.Prefer the source platform’s Share action or the final direct address after a legitimate short-link redirect.
- Choose the matching tool.Do not submit a Story to a Reel form or a profile to a single-video form.
- Interpret the response literally.Compare only returned options; do not infer a hidden file, guaranteed quality, audio track, or watermark state.
- Confirm permission before saving.Check creator permission, copyright, privacy, music, contractual, and local-law responsibilities for the intended use.
Public Does Not Mean Free To Reuse
Platform privacy settings answer who can view content; they do not transfer copyright or eliminate privacy, publicity, music, contract, or licence obligations. Save only content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to access for the intended purpose.
